We sleep during duty

On our second week at Pio Arguelles Health Center in Makati, i still didn't feel our purpose for being assigned there. So far, what we do is just to admit patients, ask for their family numbers, ask for their chief complaints why they want a consultation, take their vital signs, and when given the chance, inject babies their required immunizations.

But i haven't injected yet! It's so frustrating. Because the schedule for immunizations is during wednesdays at 8am-12pm ONLY! And what? Every wednesday we go to the health center at 11AM to take over the first group that went there. Then...we are left with one fucking hour! Tapos malasin ba naman na wala nang patients.. grrr... tapos ang sikip sikip pa ng place..buti nalang may second floor at doon kami tumatambay MOST of the time..

So on regular whole days, the health center is open for Morbid patients...meaning those who are sick especially those who have TB who go there to take their daily medications. Our group is divided in two so to occupy the two shifts: morning and afternoon. And what does the other half of the group do upstairs when we are not called to work? We sleep. XD Also, we joke around and tease each other, make unnecessary noises, use our iPod's, TEXT, EAT, and the best: make-up. LOL.




We are such spoiled brats students of the Nursing profession! LOL. XDD

I so love the whole album! Her tracks are now so well organized. Though i love her other songs, like Color of your Spoon, Fake Flowers, Tears and Rainbows, Wish, A little Pain, and (my favorite) SpiderSpins, this album is just great. I also saw the PV for Stars Shining Out. It looks weird if you first view it but gradually i learned to understand what the PV is all about plus all the artsy fartsy stuff that the video had, i love it.

KrispyKreme

I can't believe this! The last time i ate a KrispyKreme doughnut was way back in high school wherein one of my friends brought home a box from the states. So my family bought a box, when they got home, i ate a piece and OMG i wanted more! It's so fucking tempting to eat but i need to control because i'm currently dieting. As in. Lol. XD

Damn weather!

I hate this. It's so friggin cold! Even while on duty this afternoon inside the hospital is friggin cold! I couldn't even wear my jacket because it's not white! Huuuuuuuuu! "It has to be white" my arse! grrr... i'm already getting sick and merely wearing my jacket would effin' help. :(

Ah well...

Thank gawd that the Manila Film Festival is over! I only watched Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo with my girl friends the other week. The other movies i could just barf at them for being so BADUY. It's all super hero-ish. The only superhero movie that i wanted to watch was ZsaZsa Zaturnah. Why? Because I have read the comics long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away and it was friggin hilarious! Lol. XD So right now i wanna watch... Night at the Museum, Eragon, Blood Diamond and anything comedy-ish. Oh shiet, i need to find a copy nga pala of Tenacious D! >_<#

So right now i am working mah arse off to finish "encoding" the conversation that we had with our Schizophrenic patient's mother. It's 37:02 minutes long.

Santa is pleased that he was able to grant us a good year ender for the family. That's my sister cooking a dish for our New Year's celebration, btw. I had to go with my dad, mom and brother to buy fireworks. For 1,500 pesos, we got ourselves 300 pieces of Kuwitis, 50 pieces of Roman Candles, two 500 Sawa, 5 pieces of the much bigger Kuwitis, 2 boxes of Kiddi Bombs, 3 boxes of Baby Rockets, 2 boxes of 7 Bang Babies, and 4 pieces of Trompillo. Whew! Whatta bargain! XD

i am now officially deaf... what? @_@;

So 2007 will be the Year of the Pig, eh? And they're saying that the Ox and some other animals of the Zodiac will not have a good year, eh? I not fully convinced that I would become unlucky this year because they are just "possible" predictions and for me, every person has his own luck to make. Although, when school starts again, hell will rome the earth once more.

Anyhow, despite me becoming deaf and choked by the new year smokes, eating and drinking merry, packing in some pounds because of the everyday parties and reunions, and spending thousands of pesos for christmas gifts and buying myself things to keep me happy, AND also unfinished case studies to be completed and submitted first day, and racing with time to be able to finish our GROUP case study (thanks to the group for making me their leader.. >_<), and also missing some friends, I AM HAPPY. I AM HAPPY THAT THIS YEAR BECAME A DEAR TO ME... with all the experiences, surprises, and the much unpredictable shits i could ever think of but happened anyway, it was the best. I just hope that this new year will bring more surprises in my life and not less. ^_^
